The Langley Rivermen are excited to announce that 2003-born goaltender Jameson Kaine has committed to the team for the 2021-22 season.
The North Vancouver, BC goalie joins the Rivermen after spending the last two seasons with the Vancouver NW Hawks U18 AAA of the BCEHL. Last season was lost due to the pandemic but in the 2019-20 season, Kaine had 16 wins in 20 games, four shutouts, and a 2.19 goals-against average.
Kaine played the full 60 minutes, stopping 31 of 32 shots in the Rivermen’s exhibition game win over the Coquitlam Express on September 29th.
The rookie goaltender sent in the following message when asked about his reaction to joining the Rivermen.
“I’m truly honoured and excited to become a part of this great organization. Thank you to my family, coaches, and friends for helping me make the next important step in my career.”
